Quartering view of the GTO - has she got a wonderful flank, or what?
Head on view of the GTO - it means business when you see this in your rearview mirror!
Information is a mere glance away within the GTO instrument cluster. * Note: the leather covered dash has baseball stiching and the Nardi steering wheel has a terrific tactile touch enabling great feedback of the road surface.
Calfskin interior of the GTO - driver's side view. * Note: the smell is a serious part of the experience!
Calfskin interior of the GTO - passenger's side view. * Note: nice map pockets.
The rollbar is barely visible in this quarter view from inside the GTO. Hope it's never needed!
This view generally isn't visible for long.
No cargo room to speak of within the GTO.
Lots of spokes to keep clean, but a wonderful part of the character of the GTO are the knock-off-spinner wire wheels.
Ferrari GTO - she's a sleek, sensuous, superbly finished example.
My pal Speed Racer's instrument panel - classier than mine (which I plan to renovate).
Speed Racer's valve covers, a tri-power manifold and carbs, and great detailing! I just got the next to last set of valve covers known to exist - please don't bother me for info on the last set unless you're willing to fork over the 600 bucks the guy wants (it's not negotiable)! * Note: All the aluminum placards and decals are readily available from your Ferrari dealer.
Rodek 408ci aluminum SBC block, valley-side. * Note: talk about "strong", the webs between the left and right side bank of cylinders make for a rigid assembly! What's more, this puppy has steel sleeves and is bored to 4.165" which when combined with 6" rods produces sufficient torque to move mountains - OK, maybe that's a little exagerated, but not by much!
Rodek 408ci aluminum SBC block, crank-side. The splayed rod-caps anchor it all together, the dry-sump oil fittings on each side of the block are for AN hose. * Note: this block can also be setup for wet-sump duty.

BRC, 23 degree, forged solid-domed pistons. The piston will get the dome milled off, then the rotating assembly is re-balanced.
Competition Cams solid roller camshaft w/stainless rockers plus stud girdle needed to hold it all together at high RPMs! * Note: this cam grind is for a 700 HP, 1500 pound sprint car . . . way too radical for the 400 HP, 2500 pound street use envisioned for the GTO - but it's nice to know it's there if more HP is desired.
Wanna have dead-accurate valve timing? Then you gotta use a gear drive. Who wants a radio with mechanical mayhem like this sending a tingle up your spine?

Does Lynn love me, or what? This is the 2nd time she's bought me Webers . . . the first time was as a wedding gift to fit 40DCOE sidedrafts to my Fiat 124 Spider - March 10th, 1978.
